Description
We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Mechanical System Verification Specialist (Medical Device Sector). The role is a permanent position based in Solothurn Canton & comes with good home office allowance.
Your Role:
- Participate in product development & continuous improvement projects to enhance product performance & quality.
- Collaborate with various product stakeholders to understand customer needs & design specifications & subsequently convert these into detailed test specifications.
- Develop test cases (including methodology, setups, materials, procedures, requirements & acceptance criteria) to ensure compliance with product standards.
- Develop the necessary test equipment to accurately measure system performance.
- Oversee the commissioning & qualification of test equipment to ensure it meets all necessary standards & specifications.
- Create, optimize, introduce & validate new test methods to improve test efficiency & effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive test documentation, including test procedures & detailed step-by-step protocols.
- Perform & coordinate complex testing activities, support failure mode analysis, conduct root cause investigations & scout for new verification tools.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in System Verification & Mechanics.
- Skilled & experienced in Testing Mechanical Products.
- Strong expertise in Developing & Validating Test Methods & Equipment
- Ideally experienced with Matlab & CAD software (Siemens NX).
- Preferably experienced within Highly Regulated Industries.
- Any experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is considered a plus.
Your Profile:
- Completed University Degree in Medical Engineering, Mechanics, Microengineering, or Mechatronics (or similar).
- Analytical, logical, proactive & target-oriented with a can-do attitude.
- Strong communication skills & enthusiastic to share knowledge.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written), any German language skills are considered a plus.
